Mid-Century Modern Furniture
It's hard to find a Los Angeles home that doesn't give a nod toward the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic.
Clean lines and a close integration with nature dominate the architecture of the Southland. And the mid-century modern furniture style is often captured in the lines of sofas, chairs, dining and coffee tables that outfit those homes.
From the Post and Beam architecture that peppers the Hollywood Hills, to the clean lines of the thrift store furniture that fills a Venice Beach bungalow - the atomic era is where we find a safe haven for decor. Not to mention, some of the great designers of the movement made their marks from studios here in our boom town of Los Angeles. Ray and Charles Eames, the studio of Knoll Associates, and the great Frank Gehry are just a few of the iconic names from the mid-century modern period.
The atomic era continues to inspire a whole new crop of Los Angeles based furniture craftsmen just like our crew!
Often imitated, and also often duplicated... the Jaxon Home mid-century collection is our pride and joy. See for yourself!
